Dr. Adiqa Kiani / Chairperson / Agriculture & Resource Economist

Adiqa Kausar Kiani, Ph.D, is Chairperson of Corporate Social Responsibility and Human Rights Centre, Islamabad. She is also an Associate Professor and Chairperson of Department of Economics, Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. Adiqa works with senior fellows and executive teams to analyze and solve complex CSR issues and problems, create effective corporate and stakeholder strategies and build management capabilities.

A widely published author and speaker, Adiqa is an experienced and highly sought after facilitator of workshops and seminars on CSR and agriculture resource economics.Adiqa has an extensive track record on identifying emerging global business issues.
Adiqa did her Ph.D, in the field of Agriculture Economics focused on Efficiency and Productivity in Agriculture Sector of Pakistan. As an Associate Professor of Agriculture and Resource Economics, she has made important contributions in the field of development Economics.She encourages the development of policy coalitions between business, labour and NGOs that explore pragmatic policy options to fast track progress towards sustainable development.
 
Asim Jaffry / Founder & CEO
 

Asim Jaffry, LLM, is founder and CEO of the Corporate Social Responsibility and Human Rights Centre (CSRHRC). Jaffry’s work focuses on examine the complex issues of CSR and Human Rights and develop sustainable solutions, how to take tough decisions to seize the opportunity in the face of challenge through organizational capacity building, research and CSR measurements. He also focuses on climate change strategies and program development. He has consulted for private enterprises and social sector organizations on integration of CSR into business operations and policies.

 
He has developed an innovative approach to understand and measure the corporation’s social performance through CSR Index. He has presented his work at international conferences on corporate social responsibility, business and human rights, making the CSR business case for poverty alleviation, role of new media in sustainability. His recent work includes ‘An Exploratory study on Corporate Social Responsibility in Pakistan ’
